How can I check the status of my domain name purchase or transfer?

New domain registrations will only be processed after you pay for them.

Domain transfers will only be initiated after you pay for them. After that, be sure to watch your email for a confirmation letter. The transfer should be decided within 48 hours. If you don't receive a "Domain Transfer Confirmation" email within 48 hours asking you to confirm/deny the transfer to PacificHost then something went wrong. In this scenario you will need to open a ticket with our Billing Department so we can find out what the issue is for you.

If you do receive the confirmation email and choose to accept the transfer, the domain should be visible under the "Domains" > "My Domains" link in the Client Portal and show as "Active" within 48 hours. Once the domain is active you will be able to modify the nameservers and change contact information just as you could before.
