How to unblock yourself from the server firewall

We employ a strict firewall configuration across all of our servers to ensure the servers are well protected against all forms of attack. We do our best to ensure a balance between security and and usability however sometimes the firewall still mistakes legitimate traffic as an attack. To ease the hassle of getting unblocked we have added the ability to unblock yourself from the server in such a scenario. The process is relatively simple and easy. To assist we have put together hte following tutorial on how to unblock yourself and any friends you might have from the server.

NOTE: This feature is only available to clients on our Shared, Business and Reseller Hosting solutions. If you believe you have been blocked from your VPS or Dedicated Server you will need to submit a ticket to our Support Department.

Step 1: Login to the Client Portal.

Step 2: Once logged in, click the "Services" dropdown button, followed by the "My Services" link in the navbar.  

Step 3: Once on the Hosting Packages page, click the "View Details" button for the website in which you are being blocked from. 

Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom and you will see the Unblock from Server Firewall section. Your IP Address is automatically entered into the text field and all you have to do is click the Unblock field.
